Its like applying for a mortage to rent a house credit check for this credit check for that.... Admin fee for this Admin fee for that... Its a nightmare...

Ask them if you can provide your own credit check which is £2 from Experian rather than £50 for someone to do the same

my eldest and her friend was looking for a flat to move in together as they are moving away to uni

on top of rent in advance, bonds etc they wanted £180 admin frees which is basically for them to print of a sheet of paper and the girls to sign it

My last letting agent wanted me to pay £56 to renew my lease. I told the landlord I would type it up myself, change the date and send them so no one has any admin.
