So today on one thread there are 2 different posters who i would never meet, and many ppl here i want to meet solely based on their contributions.

i think it would be useful if on someones profile there was a forum button. So you could click it and see their recent contributions, like the green arrow ,but on the profile.

What do others think?

(if its a daft/unworkable idea i'm still spacey from this morning,so blame Sir )

Actually I've been thinking this for a while, I do know there's some sites where whilst looking at a profile there is an option to view all forum posts.

There is a link to your own recent forum posts on the right hand side, so it wouldn't be that complex to adapt the code to relate to the profile your are viewing and see that person's forum posts if they have made any.

Well what I've seen all that persons posts are together and the link to those threads are available, where as here the links to the threads are there but we then have to scroll through threads to find posts.

you can use the green arrow to stalk... i mean read all the lastest posts someone has made . so should be easy to add that to a profile.........

let me add, those type I mention tend to be SMF (simple machines forum) which are like the type these forums used to be before ownership changed, I realise they're considered a risk with virus's and the likes, so not sure if it's an option here.

little house on the praire

Just from what people type in the forums and based on nothing else there are lots of people that i would love to meet.

There are also those i wouldnt want to be on the same continent as.

However, there are people who i took a dislike to there personality from what they had written and have now become very good friends.

We can all get it wrong a mean one person i met told me they thought i was going to be loud and opinionated
