im sorry but i have no idea why the guys race is relevant...i would think the only relevant fact is that he is male, and therefore more likely than the woman buyer to throw a hissy fit and start the equivalent of 'my dads going to beat up your dad!'...seriously?? what has his clour got to do with it! an asshole is an asshole!

I find that people who make such threats are usually complete and utter helmets that like to talk tough but haven't actually got the stones to do what they say they're going to do.I'd ignore the prick and forget all about it

And let's consider that, if a Caucasian gave abuse to a someone from a minority, it would be classed as a race crime and would be ALL about race.

But they did state their name was raj when then name of the buyer wasn't mentioned and they did state their actions did nothing for race relations. Pretty clear that the race of the person was very important to them.

There's a lot of that I'm not "this" but going around these days the OP might not think they are indeed racist and probably meant not to come across as they did. But they could have said what they said without mentioning race at all. So why feel the need to mention it, unless they are inferring that because of his race is is more likely to be a twat.

the title of the post makes it clear he sees something other than a simple angry man, otherwise why say 'the cause'?..he calls the guy 'raj', and then mentions that he is not a racist about 5 times, making it clear, as well as another comment about the 'culture'...if you cant see very clear racism in that, that, as i said is your problem. Feigned dis-ingenuousness just makes people look very very stupid.

By deleting the opening post the Op has basically confirmed that they regret writing it. That leaves me of the opinion that it was not malicious, but most racism is not malicious or overt.

I applaud the Op for showing some regret, we all have to learn about ourselves. It helps if we're not demonised in the process.
