It's a rhetoric we hear so often. Coincidentally so does the other gender.

But read through the forums enough and those dispersions are cast to the degree that a stereotype is cast almost.

We all tell fibs and embelish for various reasons. (Please you do!!)

So why? Confess why or share a reason! Avoid grief? Simply couldn't bring yourself to tell the truth or...to bloody well get what you wanted.

No that's what we say when a guy makes a statement like "I'm going out with my mates on Saturday night" having forgotten that he promised to go out with you.
