Does anyone suffer from this and struggles to stay hard within sight of a condom ?

And if you or your partner have suffered with this in the past have you got any useful tips to get over this problem?

(Obviously I'm asking for a friend as I no longer have my penis since the opp ! but i don't think he is ready to lose it completely!)

My hubby has this problem as he hates the texture and smell of anything rubber, he can't touch them! On a serious note, have you tried femidoms? It might help him relax and not have to think about condom pressure.

That is, if the femidom doesn't scare him - I know some men can be put off by a contraceptive that can be used as a stunt kite.

I can have this trouble if I end up faffing around with it for too long. A little attention from the lady in question usually resolves the issue

Lots of guys are better endowed than they realise and use condoms that are too small.

This makes them too tight and he is then very much aware that he has one on.

Try a bigger size guys. Feel happier in the knowledge that you're 'hung'.

A condom should cover your whole shaft not stop part way down and once it's on and you're inside someone you shouldn't really be able to tell you're wearing it.

Skyns are good for not having the latex smell. That is also very handy when swapping he might be wearing one for a bit, then whipping it off for same partner or oral. On a meet it's easy to go through 3 or more before coming, so it's handy to be comfortable with them.

I used to find condoms a massive turn off. Then I realised the brand I was using were too small, and too thick. If it leaves you itchy for a week it sounds like you have a sensitivity to latex.

As has been suggested earlier in the thread try skyns latex free.
