NHS appreciation thread!

I'm currently in a hospital bed having taken a nasty turn after a routine procedure this morning.

All the staff, from the doctors and nurses looking after me, to the receptionist and healthcare assistant that scooped me up off the floor in reception after I fainted, have been absolutely lovely.

We are so blooming lucky to have an NHS!

I am going to write to the hospital to say thank you (unless any hospital staff out there have got better suggestions of what would be appreciated?).

Any other forumites want to share some love for our NHS and hospital staff?

Yes the NHS staff do a great job, especially those on the front line... paramedics and A&E staff, it can't be easy doing your job under the pressure of a life threatening emergency.

I've got nothing but love for the NHS,they've quite literally kept me alive on two occasions, they've also repaired me/put me back together again several times over the years, and every time the staff have been friendly, professional and have often gone above and beyond to help me and make sure I'm as comfortable as possible in their care.So to all you NHS staff out there, keep doing what you're doing because you're some of the best in the world at it!

As is so often the case it's great to hear how people's individual experiences far exceed the crap they are told to expect from our idiot self serving politicans and lazy media.

Thanks for saying thanks. That, and telling people are the best thins you can do.

Cardiff

Yeah bless em, I'm grateful to them for what they have done in the past for me and currently doing and I'm just one if millions upon millions.

Very much under appriciated and take for granted.

Their all top people and deserve more.

Staff are being fined thousands at our local hospital due to parking fines, an utter disgrace.

Get well soon OP
