Shopping? Sport, " I know exactly what your going through op I have been there many times. I have recently deleted some forms of social media from my life. I go to the gym or for a walk. I get up early before everyone else and think about what I have. I love to get away to the lakes and have at least 2 holidays a year there. You have to give yourself some you time. To do what you like, surround yourself with people who make you happy. | |||

My problem is I'm the most self critical person internally and I struggle to accept things that I've not given 100% to or even if I've done my best, most of the time I feel like my best isn't good enough. It's tough, really tough." I relate to that, plus my libebof work is always open to numerous opinions and my actions are scruitinised constantly. Doesn't help that I'm laid up atm | |||

I'm off sick at the moment, can't afford to go out much, don't have many people I know in the area, and those that I do I know from work so it's a catch 22. | |||

After my wife left me I found myself sitting in a silent empty house when I'd been used to a mad house with kids running round etc. I was heartbroken and had no will to get out of bed. I put my mind do doing something for myself. I had motorbike lessons and bought a bike. Now I can hop on it and go wherever the road takes me and it's a great way of taking your mind off things and it beats sitting at home on your own. Sitting in wallowing in pity is no good for anybody mate, get out and do something. But a dog and go out for long walks, just do something. Good luck | |||

"Had a very very dark week recently due to events not of my making. It is not easy but I try to focus on any positives thoughts that come into my head and try let the negative, the what ifs and the blame thoughts flow past without delving too much into them. Watched ten minutes of Jeremy Kyle was almost enough to remind me my life could be a whole lot worse! Get outside, get some excercise, avoid excess sugar, drugs and alcohol as these put you on an emotional rollercoaster! Do things that you enjoy, for me that's a few hours cutting firewood... excercise, fresh air and something productive to focus my mind on all combined. Recall some good memories and happy times and remember no matter how low things are now that there will be many more opportunities for more happy memories ahead.
