Huh, that's nothing.. been on the phone to a blood sucking lawyer for half a day, 1 hour on the phone to the tax people (who were quite helpful actually) then three hours trying to track down who held the warranty for the laptop I bought my daughter for Xmas that has now decided it needs a new m/board. The company I bought it from have gone bust and lo and behold, the company contracted to service the warranty has gone into liquidation and the company that bought them (the same directors) have cancelled all outstanding warrantees, and the company that manufactured it are in China!

So much for the Sale of Goods Act 1994!

Yep, the c/card company deduct 24% for each quarter of a year I had the machine trouble free in it's first year.

Fit for purpose? I says.

It was, for a while, says them!
