"What a blooding bitch it is I'm in agony with it Can't get into the Drs till tomorrow, been taking tramadol for the past two days and it's not even taking the edge off the pain Looks like another night of no sleep I have a really good pain threshold but at 3am it reduced me to tears I've been told to sleep on the floor does that really help Any advice greatly receive " No. Feel for you, it's a Bitch ! I resort to flexisec cream when it's really painful but probably too late to pop chemists. Just dose up on the tramas and grit your teeth. I do find red hot baths are good for it but then can't sleep because body won't cool down | |||

"Try and do some stretching. Look for yoga types of stretches try pinterset, there are some very good exercises on there. " This is the key..psoas needs to be stretched to release the tension.. basically how a cat or dog stretches after laying curled up...do the same it's helped me a lot....J | |||

Gently stretch your leg by crossing one leg over the other and gently pulling your knee up and across, a tiny bit at first or you'll make it worse. Do you know where the pain originates? Is it in your spine? Does it cause any numbness and is it alleviated by sitting down? Try sitting down and leaning slightly forward slightly as if you're riding a bike and holding the handlebars. Don't be fobbed off by the doctor tomorrow, ask to be referred to a musculo skeletal specialist and a physio. Hope you get it sorted, sciatic pain is crippling. | |||
