Or maybe I'm just really bored, that it amuses me . "No no no for one very good reason fab is for ever bemoaning the social skills of the average single male on site so watching two people flirt in the forums surely will improves such guys skills in the long run thus improving the fab experience for your average couple and single female | |||

It's summer and usually quieter which doesnt help.
But I was here months before I ventured into the forums and longer still before I posted anything. It felt at the time a little unwelcoming and closed off with the in jokes and established relationships people have on here.
We are only used by a small subset of fabbers and some of the banter often becomes just vitriolic very quickly... and like the rest of fab the block button often becomes the default response to any perceived slight one may feel has been inflicted by another..
I don't have any great solutions but I'm clearly not the only person here who has noticed the changes in recent weeks...
Nor am I one of the clever kids who creates the threads but maybe a higher profile for the forums may help along with the need for fresh meat! Perhaps the two go together but if we are seen as unattractive closed to outsiders and only talk amongst ourselves then it's not really inviting new forum users to the party.
Ultimately the forums only work if it's fun interesting and attract people who help make it and keep it that way. There are some regulars on here who do that but perhaps too few and the only way it changes is if we all want it to change and make the effort to do so.
I'm now at the point where I don't even try to arrange meets via the profiles have never actually arranged a meet with anyone on the forums and don't really expect that to ever happen anyway.
But I stick around mainly for the forums like I suspect many others here.
I kinda hope that things get better here if only to drag me out of the man cave.
To those who may have solutions or suggestions...please share them with the rest of us...i really feel the place needs a boost....

I don't like or use the system I have met lots of people off of the forums in the flesh ."Most of what I posted was about the current feeling across many that the forums are lacking something at present. I do wander the threads and post from time to time but there has been an air of discontent amongst many on here in recent weeks about the forums in general... strangely today seems to have been better than it has been for some time... As for meets well the if who and when I meet is between me and whoever I may meet... but I am a little geographically challenged...i even posted about that on another thread today.. If it came across as a can't get meets post I apologise that was not the point of the post. | |||
