I refused to watch the leaked episode as it would just mean a longer wait until the next episode

Not in this season unless shit goes really bad denny, Jon, and Cersi meet up, and Jon tells all of them about the army of the dead.

I was a bit more excited about this episode than I should have been, it felt like the first time I watched star wars. I was 5

However with next weeks being an hour and a half special, its got a lot of bits to cram in and thats before we have to wait 12 months for another 7 episodes to finish it all off in.

Personally i think it might actually feel rushed without rounding off storylines which is a shame really because so many questions still remain with 8 episodes to answer them all in.

feels like they just want to get it over with, and keep as many people happy as possible. I thought season 8 was only 6 episodes?

I think they are still keeping the count fluctuating which is frustrating. Hopefully they can do it some justice and a decent ending (so many decent programs cut short get shitty endings)

He would've been running for a few hours at least. I don't think they got that far to begin with. It's rushed because they want to show the cool shit but have fewer episodes to do it in. I'd rather watch a big battle and dragons burning wights than Jon snow and company sitting around in a rock for a day or so

They were in the rock all night hence the scene with them waking up and the sun coming up or getting lighter anyway.

The timing is all realistic, they were on the rock several days before daenerys turned up.

Several hours for gendry to run.

Few days for the raven to get to dragonstone.

Half a day for daenerys to fly over on the dragon.

All adds up to how long ice that thick takes to freeze.

Everything is linking in now, the rock they were stranded on - that's where bran saw the night king whilst warging with the ravens.

The arrowhead mountain the hound saw - that's where the children of the Forrest made the first white walker.

They've said it may be 2019 before next series, this series has been rushed. Too much going on and I can't see next weeks episode bringing everything together.
