My Final Rant

Hello everyone,

Some of you know me, some don't, some don't give a single shit, which is fair enough !

In this thread, i'll have a last rant about Fabswingers, don't see this thread a free rant, i'm just gonna give my general opinion on this website, and the community making it alive. And also the reasons that are making me delete my profile.

The Website,

Well, after 6 months here, i haven't notice a single change, even tho there's loads and loads of great ideas proposed in the section made for it. I haven't seen, ever, an admin/mod posting on suggestions saying if it has been a project, if it's possible, if not and why. This is a part of your job, yes you are not paid, but no one forced you to have such responsability, therefore, if you're not ready to do everything that this responsability include, don't be one, simple as that.

The Community,

That's when it's interesting, at first, when i joined this site, i didn't know exactly what swinging was, due to my lack of vocabulary in English and to my ignorance, then i've learned what is swinging, and THEN i was lost.

Why was I lost ? Because i could witness so many drama.... I know, swinging doesn't cut the Drama part away from life, but jesus fucking christ, we're all adults on this website so please behave like adults, yes that's a 25years old man who's telling to be adults, i hope it's gonna ring a bell somewhere, if not... jump of a building and see if the ground is soft or not because no one can do anything for you at that point.

The Forum,

This one was not planned, but the forum is a mix of the website and the community, so i couldn't speak about it in those sections before.

The forum should have a massive rework, first, make the rules more visible, with, like 95% of the forum existing on the web, a pinned thread in each section allowing people to have a quick look at the forum rules.

Encourage people to use the forum search section before posting a thread, that would make the forum less repetitive (how many times have i seen the same new post days after days ? I can't even tell tbh).

Deleting some thread that have been inactive for more than X weeks could be a good idea too, it would make the forum lighter and you wouldn't see people digging threads that have been inactive for 24weeks (maximum i've seen).

Deleting my profile, why ?

First, and most important, because after 6 months i've realised that swinging is not for me, just yet, maybe i'll get into it later in my life.

Second, for all the reasons listed before, lack of improvement when it comes to the website, lack of adulting (a lot of fabbers are behaving like teenagers that would make Trump look like a wise man, yes that's harsch, but that's the truth), and not enough common sense/logic around here.

Last and Third reason, because i can't get any meet D': !

As you're probably thinking, and you're right, the third reason is a fake, a bit of fun never killed anyone.

You made it to the end of my Final Rant, i hope you enjoyed, i hope i made some good points, and i hope i've hurt no ones feelings (fuck you're feelings actually ).

I wanted to thank everyone who made my experience on this website easier/funnier/kinkier/naughtier/ and i'm sure i'm gonna forget a lot of adjectives but you get my point, and those people will recognize themselves.

How could i forget the people i had a beef with, y'all are morons .

It isn't as simple as that to be honest. Mods can't implement any suggestions nor decide if any will be used. They are members just like you were. Only Admin can change anything on the site and it would be them who announce it

Dramatic diva posts as in Tosca, as she leaps from the ramparts...in some unfortunate productions, a trampoline has been placed for her landing, very occasionally resulting in the diva/heroine unfortunately bouncing back onto the stage!

Otherwise a Tristan and Isolde exit, a dramatic full of woe speech and gone forever....

In this thread, i'll have a last rant about Fabswingers, don't see this thread a free rant, i'm just gonna give my general opinion on this website, and the community making it alive. And also the reasons that are making me delete my profile.

Well, after 6 months here, i haven't notice a single change, even tho there's loads and loads of great ideas proposed in the section made for it. I haven't seen, ever, an admin/mod posting on suggestions saying if it has been a project, if it's possible, if not and why. This is a part of your job, yes you are not paid, but no one forced you to have such responsability, therefore, if you're not ready to do everything that this responsability include, don't be one, simple as that.

It isn't as simple as that to be honest. Mods can't implement any suggestions nor decide if any will be used. They are members just like you were. Only Admin can change anything on the site and it would be them who announce it

I got as far as "adults" then thought, "But wait, this is another silly flounce, which is not very adult."

And whining that if anybody doesn't agree with that they should go jump off a building is so childish. I'd advise growing up a bit while you're away, then when you return - as you undoubtedly will - you might be adult enough to put the site into some kind of perspective.

No site is perfect. This site does some things better, especially as it's free. And they all have people who whine and flounce, then return.
