It can all depend on what mood I'm in and the circumstances. One piece of music might be apt for one occasion but not for another. I also like quite a few hymns which I seem to sing to myself on occasions! Lol

I don't know exactly why but the Kinks' Waterloo Sunset always has me tearing up - I think it's because it conjures up memories of London past for me. Barber's Adagio for Strings also sets me off, as does Albinoni's Adagio in G Minor and Sakamoto's theme for Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence.

Definitely, I was in the Military and was a coffin carrier in around 30 funerals, some of them mates. A very emotive piece of music for me.
