I'm referring more to OP having been passed that stage and planning a meet but understand your point. I hear guys want a meet asap or lose interest, almost like they're only available when other responsibilities allow!!

Group social mmmmm organised a joint birthday party last year and now trying to sort the Beach Party at Quest next Friday

One to one socials pay there dues but give me a club meet any day if I am totally honest

I have to agree OP. But I've always maintained to have a coffee requires a contract signed in blood with a face pic less than 2 minutes old before they consider it... still no guarantee they will even turn up.

I've no plans on meeting anyone new for for sealed future as it's far to much work for a 30 min. coffee.

Maybe things will change after kids go back to school.
