I've been on fab for a couple of months, and when I'm casually browsing profiles I see some beautiful looking women on here, and of course I decide to read the profile and immediately I'm intimidated and just back away too scared to even send a message, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only guy having this issue, but I just want to know from you lovely ladies of fab or anyone really, what would you do in my prediciment?

Be warned though, the first thing we do when we get a message is check out the profile and my advice would be to always send a face picture with a first message.

aw, one guy who looked at me yesterday had his profile status as 'some lovely looking women on here, wish i was their type'. thought it was a little sad really.

i would say approach them anyway.

I think as long as you make sure you have clear public pics on your profile that shows your body size, it doesn't matter who you message as long as their profile does not specifically exclude you!

If you have no public pics as you don't just now, then you will forever be going round in circles as I can assure you, all females will look at your profile before any message and if it is sparse you wont have a great success rate

OP when ladies receive a message there are usually only a few things that happen.

They will read it and delete without replying.

They will read it and reply "no thanks"

They will read it and decide they want to chat to you.

They will delete it without reading.

Don't worry too much about people being rude and nasty towards you. It does happen occasionally but not that often. I don't behave in this way unless someone has been particularly rude or abusive to me or they are persistent and won't take no for an answer.

I would suggest doing a forum search for profile advice and pick out the good bits. A good profile and some nice pictures really are essential. Your profile is your "first impression" so make the most of it.

If you see someone you like the look of take a chance and send them a message. If you don't then you won't get anywhere. Just bear in mind you are just one man among many thousands of others so don't get too disheartened if you don't get replies.
