My social circle revolves around abs (at the gym). So that's generally the body type im drawn to. But personality rules over that - which is generally why they've been ditched soon after

I hope abs aren't necessary. I was raised on a diet of beer and bar nuts. I'm not huge, but I've got a bit of a belly on me. I am slowly losing weight though.

Obviously I can't speak for everyone else, but my line of thinking is men who aren't good looking tend to make more of an effort in bed.

I'm not gonna brag and say I'm amazing in bed because I'm probably not, but I do know that I have to try harder to impress a woman in bed in order to keep them interested because I know I'm no Chris Hemsworth. If that makes sense.

Yes, they are part of your core muscles, so help you function in your day to day life.

Do abs help with swinging?

They aren't going to do any harm if they are visible but a well written profile and a great personality will get you a lot further...

You don't need anti lock brakes, we managed for many years without it. However if it is fitted and doesn't work it will fail an MoT test.
