Time to worry is when you're saying the same thing in 10 years time.

Does that mean you've just turned 30 and it's your birthday today

Apparently it just gets worse as you get older. My dad says its just his body that's in its 60's, his brain still feels 21.

I'm closer to 40 than 30.

We've just started listening to Radio 4 in the car.

I think this is the end.

Having passed many a water shed in my life I would say take some time out physically or emotionally. Have a bit of a think about what you "really" want out of life. Pare that down to what you know you would regret not at least trying to achieve and then work out a way of aiming for it. Sometimes the realisation that you may actually achieve something is enough to make you realise you don't want it!

If you don't really know what you want let yourself drift a bit until you do.

There's no shame in being content to remain as you are though and if you're happy do that. Life isn't a race to achieve certain things, its a journey to reach an inevitable destination

I can confirm that you are now one step away from "officially past it".

If you find yourself turning to Radio 3 for the morning journey to work because "all that racket on radio 2 does my head in" you know it's over.

Hah! That's why we shifted to 4. I think the actual words used were "It sounds like Radio 1 on here".

I shall have to start wearing the slippers I was bought for Christmas.
