A need some advice please fellow fabbers?

I've kinda got a meet sorted hotel booked and I've been chatting with this person but all of a sudden I've got this feeling she's gonna pull, sent a message but hasn't got back and noticed it got deleted.

Don't want to push it and send any more messages in case she get arsey.Any comments greatly received.

Have you booked the room on the assumption shes going to join you or did she agree to meet you there before hand

i would honestly ask her why she deleted the message and if the meet is still on.

don't push for anything else or try to guilt trip her coz that is pushy. but if you've booked a hotel already i think it's fair to know what's going on exactly.

This kinda thing happens, she may have deleted because she isn't interested or simply a bulk delete because she's got too many messages. Can you cancel hotel without penalty ?

If the lady knows you've paid for a hotel I personally think it's bad form for her not to let you know either way, but maybe that's just me

i'm thinking that but hopefully she is honest and says she won't be coming so he can try and arrange with someone else.

Always have a scheduled plan of when communication will occur. This doesn't help now but could for others.

As someone else said, send a message reminding them of the agreement and request confirmation.

If the time arrives and nothing is heard, the room is not changeable etc - it's worth asking the hotel if not checked in - post another meet, just in case someone is free.

Get phone numbers and speak on the phone, agree a plan of communication and how you'll meet, to reduce future potential issues.

I messaged her last night to check if she was still ok for the Friday and she said fine,also let her know I booked the hotel which again she said Ill look forward to that, just seems to have gone a little weird for no apparent reason. As for the hotel can't cancel as non refundable as I went for the slightly cheaper option.Mingebag, still a nice room though

If she doesn't give you a good reason as to why she isn't coming, then dont waste any more time on her. It's a shame you've booked the room already though

If you messaged her last night and she said it was fine and she is looking forward to it - I think you're possibly overthinking it - it's less than 24 hours later. Presuming it's this Friday? If so I'd drop her another line tomorrow evening just to confirm all's still good.

As others have said she may have inadvertantly deleted your message and that's it. Questioning her now may just have an adverse effect that you don't want.
