Immortal lines in an Elvis song,(it would have been his birthday yeasterday).

This was on the radio yesterday, and whilst his voice stands the test of time, the sentiments don't!

Can you imagine if some man said that to you when trying to woo you?

I lost my virginity using that exact line tbh. I didn't say what Elv the Pelv sung, but the meaning was exactly the same.

Basically, we'd been dating for a few weeks and she always took it to the brink and then pulled back, so I told her no sex, no relationship - and lost my virg. that very night.

(she said later that she had wanted to do it but just needed a not so subtle shove - and yes, we went on to have a relationship spanning 2 years so it wasn't a 'fuck her and leave her' exercise)
