Birmingham and Dubai

Last night I had my car battery die on me. Satnav didn't shut down properly. I had some jumper cables that came with the car that take forever to charge. Every guy who stopped to help had no patience or good cables apparently. In the end, this sweet lady stopped and got me going.

Have any ladies stopped to help a guy out when his cars broken down?

I always stop to help out, I've been the person stuck at the roadside many a time when I had my astra, nothing worse.

I am surprised you are not in the garage buying a new bat?

I've stopped a couple of times, but about all I can do to help is put the little red triangle out - I'm rubbish with motors

I am glad someone would . There are some smart, kind hearted women out there.

I knew what to do, but hadn't spotted why the process hadn't worked with a guy who had stopped before hand. Key ingredient...someone needing to show you patience.

I probably wouldn't stop to help, not because I'm not the kind to do it but because I am very unlikely to actually be able to help.

I know absolutely nothing about cars hence the reason I'm with the AA

I do get that people may be afraid to help, you hear so many horror stories from the roadside. My toolbox comes in handy if ever I needed to defend myself though

I get that too. Though I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. Though those cables I am sure can hurt!

The woman who helped me was short in stature, but firm with the assistance. How we project ourselves matters. Be interesting to see if anyone else has helped out.
