"Hi" can be classed as a short message but we've had a "x".

Makes a difference to the usual, "Fancy a fuck".

We're interested in hearing what bizarre messages you've received.

We received a 'x' message so we asked, "Hi, have you read our profile?".

They read and deleted our message and hid their profile.

Erm, technically its not blank, although nothing shows, there is computer code in the box that denotes a space.

Seriously. Why don’t guys make an effort?

They send short, ridiculous and non personal messages. They then however manage to post 15 paragraphs on forums as how they get now messages, no replies and asking you to review their profile.

Put the effort it. Sow the seeds.

Short subject lines drive me nuts. On the phone app, they make it rather difficult to open the message, rather than the sender's profile.

I've had a single letter message before now. I forget what letter, but it wasn't an X. My all time favourite is still "I WANT 2 FUK UR ARS". A stunning display of crudneeds, illiteracy and caps abuse.
