You are in fact correct about wars part. 8.7 million russian soldiers died in conflict during ww2 the larger majority of that being men.

Hence why in Russia you see some incredibly beautiful women with men that could be shreks brother.

Psychologists from the University of Texas, Austin, asked 105 men to rate the attractiveness of women they were told had outperformed them on intelligence tests.

The men expressed more interest in the women with a higher intelligence than them over those with lower intelligence.

The men were then asked to pick women they'd date. This reversed the result and the men were more likely to choose to date a woman who was less intelligent.

Researchers suggested, "Feelings of diminished masculinity accounted for men’s decreased attraction toward women who outperformed them."

It also suggests that what men say and what they do differs. Who knew?

This was backed up in other research, in which more men said they preferred brunettes to blondes. They attributed intelligence more to brunettes. But in hidden camera tests, more men tried to chat up blondes than brunettes.

The corpus callosum in the female brain is larger, which is what allows women to multitask more effectively than men

I had a very similar conversation with a few male friends. They said they go for blondes first on nights out because they find them easier to pull!

When I was previously on a dating site, after telling guys my career and qualifications (which they enquired about), suddenly they weren't so interested in me anymore. After asking why, they replied " they couldn't enter into a relationship with a woman that is more qualified then them and higher up in the industry then them". Absolutely ridiculous but hey ho

iirc from mythbusters women are significantly less tolerant of pain but they do have about twice as many nerve endings in thier skin making them more sensitive.

I speak a lot - true.

I inherited nothing from my father nor one of my 2 ex husbands - the chance to inherit would be fantastic as i dislike them profusely.

I don't cry - ever. I think i've probably cried 6 times in the last 30 years - show no weakness!

Apart from that if it's all true then i guess only women can change those statistics...

lol. I always imagined guys would prefer to settle down with an independent woman who can pay her own bills etc but I'm still single lol. Learnt to live with it and became happily single

Enjoy being single... If the right man comes by so be it.

And they wonder why intelligent successful women are often considered bossy or masculine, and derided if they don't have children or labelled bad mothers if they do.

There's a reason women are so emotional and men shouldn't complain so much about it.

Researchers from the University of Tübingen in Germany showed subjects pictures of women pretending either to be scared or sad.

It cannot be denied that scared or sad are quite common emotions women express when faced with some email from men on this site.
