"It means the following in my case : I work long hours and sometimes for long periods without a break (after this weekend, my next day off is 9th Sep) So, in the evenings, I am normally wrecked bodily and mentally Despite this, I still have chores to do as part of a normal 'routine' The weekends I do get off, I catch up with visting family, touching base with friends and do the things I can't get round to in the week. I spend some of my time on here, mainly in the forums. It allows me to 'touch base' with an element of the community whilst not really requiring much effort. When I am on here, meeting up is rarely at the front of my mind. So, whilst I don't dispute the intimation you are making, some people are genuinely hampered by life getting in the way. I admire couples with kids who do all the above (and more) and still find time in their diaries to let their hair down once in a while. | |||
