Push notifications

Anyone know why when I enable push notifications for my android phone it keeps going off? Have to keep enabling it everytime I log on.

Try removing the password to your phone and keep signed in to your mail. I'd think it is because you are locking your phone each time instead of putting it into standby.

It'll drain the battery and use your data up like you wouldn't believe though. It searches every 15minutes as I remember, though you can change it to 30, 45 and hourly I think.

Rather than logging into your mail, you get notifications of every incoming mail.

The push usually works best if you still have a tab open in your browser... Its not a proper push its triggered by your browser.

Shame there isn't a fab ap by now tbh.
