True story from when I used to go and see Spurs play back in the 80's they once played Road To Hell by Chris Rea in remembrance of a fan who had been killed in a motorbike accident....the sharp intake of breath around the ground when it came on was palpable.

There must have been complaints too as there was a thing in the programme at the next game explaining his family had requested the song as it was his favourite!!

They played Hello by Lionel Richie at my uncle's funeral. It was like a group gasp and the tears flowed. I was sad but I did think can no one see the irony of that song x
