When people get chatting, and maybe working towards a 'meet', is it normal for any one of the parties to see it as doing the other a favour?

fuck me i wouldnt mind coming across someone who would let me fuck them as a favour . . . . . . though judging by some profiles on here you got to feel pretty honoured to get a reply, even go so far as to say that they are doing you a favour by saying piss off!

With some it would appear so yes.

You only have to have a look at some of the threads (started in the main by women but couples can be just as bad) and you soon get the feel they expect guys to feel privileged for a chance to meet them.

Somewhere in the thread you will often find the phrase “it’s their loss”.

A meet should be mutually enjoyable by all those involved, IMHO.

I don't know if its the same thing, but I get mails from guys asking if they can 'help me out with what I'm looking for'.

I firstly like to establish what they think I'm looking for. On the whole if they bother to reply to that, I often don't like their assumption of what it is I'm after - so its sort of doomed from the start. Nobody likes to think others view them as frustrated or desperate to be seeking sex from strangers no matter how well intentioned their offer of help is.

I tried to arrange a meet with my FB, me and a bi guy. Found a guy, chat was going well until he suggested that after he'd return the favour with a bi girl for him and I to meet. Um thanks, but I'll pass on the favours... not how I roll really. If I'm arranging a meet, I don't consider a bi guy meeting us as a favour at all.

and you wonder why I avoid these profiles. Arrogance is a BIG turn off for me. There is such a fine line between that and confidence.

You can't lose what you never had in the first place, so that confuses me too. Well it doesnt - I realise its said to salve their ego same as those who say 'I was joking' when you pick up on their veilled insults or are so gobsmacked you don't find them intimidating they use other limp phrases to try and make themselves feel better.

Anyone suffering from their loss, don't panic.

There are all sorts of lotions you can rub in now and don't rule out a medical procedure.
