You are at s club, you have been before loads of guys and gals, then a guy arrives you have not seem him there before.

Then you realise you know him from your day life, you may or may not be on first name terms with his wife.

She doesn't know he plays.....

Do you respect the club and ignore it?

Or

Do you say something to his partner/him?

It's none of your business what a casual acquaintance does or doesn't do

Would have thought it could be better to speak to him not her. I mean I wouldn't ask out right if the mrs knows but maybe a conversation towards if you should be quiet or not...

Personally I don't like to get involved in otheres lives...

You respect his privacy and say nothing

What if the shoe was on the other foot and he recognised you and knew you had a partner

Woukd you want him to tell her?

I'd of bought him a beer and had a good chat with him and respected any of his wishes, we're very friendly and welcoming at my local club always on the lookout for new players of any standard

It's simply nobody else's business, might be different if it were a very close friend or family member.

Some really interesting views anymore? Most say that it would be ignored? That has surprised me to be honest.

Why does that surprise you?

Regardless this kind of lifestyle is about discretion isn't it?

Ignore it, it's no business of yours. You don't know enough about the dynamics of their relationship or their boundaries, to interfere.

TBH you probably know NOTHING in reality about his life, so why would even consider meddling in it?

I got recognised at a club a while back by someone who thought they were doing my boyfriend a great service in telling him where i was and exactly what I was doing... sort of backfired when my boyfriend asked if it looked if was having fun and next time he see's me to make sure he says hi.

I'm surprised it's even a question. I would use thought the need for discretion was obvious. It's not your business, and quite honestly if you did get involved it's often the messenger who gets shot.

If it was the partner of my sister or best mate I might find it a bit of a dilemma but still think the most I would do is talk to him about it, wouldn't go telling tales as you don't know what goes on behind closed doors.
