Anecdotal, correlation or double blind trial etc evidence? (not intended as a pun).

Poppers aren't one thing, have been around for years in different guises and people utilize them differently. It's thus ideal to have clear understandings of what's around. In the 1980s they were thought to cause AIDS, so governments outlawed the original type, which were medicine.

When Theresa May introduced a drugs ban a couple of years ago, poppers weren't included as not deemed psychoactive drugs. They're less of a drug than a chamomile tea - though some people will demonise almost anything.
