The fading like vaseline face effect in pictures is more appealing than the normal black out strip. We want to use a recent photo but would love to know what program to use or how to do it through paint etc.

Can any of you help out here ?

do you mean you want to alter your pictures so that you cant see your faces?

If so go to pictures find the picture you want then open it up with paint and do it like that, well thats the only way i know how to lol

Dont do either,be imaginative,get pics that dont show your face if u are bothered.

Are there any free progs people ? I,ve been looking on Android market too for the Galaxy S.

We don,t hide our pics just want to tinker with the profile pic.

We use a programme called Photoscape which is free to download.

Very easy to use and has lots of different features....well worth trying!

Paint Shop Pro has some very good transistional effects you can apply to a whole photo or just a part of one (like someone's face). You can download a free trial from jasc.com.
