South Yorkshire Police Officer jailed for a year after admitting using force helicopter to film couple having sex and naked sunbathers as reported in D.M today.

Reports also mentions fabswingers as a site he used to meet people for sex and often attended a well know club in Sheffield.

Wonder how many fabbers on here have met people from public services for sex whilst they have been on duty or used public equipment (police cars, ambulances, fire engine etc) and if meeting people who are meant to be doing a job puts you or public at risk? (You, in case caught or public if incident occurs and particular officer is too busy to attend!)

Wonder how many more have done similar yet not been caught?

Guess the fact it costs £1000 to fly chopper for an hour and he used it to perve on other people and record it pushed judge to give him a years senstence.

If he has access to phone, then he can still have fun when inside by using the 'who's nearby' feature...

I saw this report... they "described him as a swinger" like it's some derogatory term.. made me angry.

Personally I don't meet people whilst I'm working. Us lot in the ambulance service don't have time anyway as we are too busy. Also I would have thought if somebody did meet and they got a job they would just leave and go straight out.... as we get chased to respond even if we're on the loo.. so in that sense it wouldn't put the public at risk.... but I'm pretty sure hardly anybody would meet at work anyway as the risk of getting caught is too high. I definitely value my job more than that.

As for sex in an ambulance... it's called joining the ferno club.. yes I am a member, but this was years ago, back in the old days, and I wasn't on shift at the time. Again you can't do it anymore due to the risk of getting caught.

Ferno club - wouldn't mind trying that ourselves but as you said probably too risky now.

Imagine an ambulance packed in some remote location, in some woods, would attract alsorts of attention
