Reading a thread earlier that reached about 130 posts before being closed and think the much loved hilarious dirty arse thread that reached about 175 posts made me wonder what the longest thread was and what the subject matter was?

well the normal ones of shag above type always run the course.

my own "say something about the person below u"- went well

soapys was REALLy great I-spy went majorly fast lol

yes that is now, they get automatically closed now at a certain point but before they put that in place some of the 'would you..' threads got to about 500 before rugby or HPC or A.N.Other mod closed it

On the old forums when there was no limit we used to play longest thread game and see how big we could get a thread, now i think its 175 posts

Do remember some posts reaching about 300 or so before they got too slow to load and were closed. Rugby or Honey will know. xx

Haha, I do as I am told....sometimes

There used to be hugeeeeee threads at times, but it did depend on the content as to when it was stopped. If it was a "would you" thread and one word answers they used to get left for a few hundred posts.

Err... Not really Ruggers! Looking at some of them, most of the posts are from the same few people! In the early days they used to attract loads and sometimes even new posters, I think we even posted once! But it always ended up with just a few posting one after the other!

But I don't care cos I don't read em any more
