Clubs .... what to expect?

I've never been to a club even though I know there are quite a lot near to where I live. I've been invited many times and have several long standing offers from friends who are dying to go with me.

My personal circumstances mean I won't be going to a club in the immediate future, but one day I would like too.

I'm not good at being confident in new places and would really like to know what I should expect when going to a club. Do you go fully clothed and get changed when you get there? Do you get shown around or have to venture around yourself? Are there rules or protocols that change from one club to another that I should be made aware of before I go.

If I went and I didn't want to play with anyone how do I make that known without saying to each person "your not my type?" I'm happy to socialise with people as i think I'm quite friendly but would people assume that if I'm being friendly that I'm keen?

Any advice or info all greatly appreciated.

Expected to be followed around a lot, I noticed this when I visited a club, I stayed in the lounge area but watching some guys pursue potently play meets was cringe worthy, specially when they were making it clear they were not interested in them.

You go to a club clothed and get changed there. Some clubs may be dress down on arrival, some clubs may be dress down later on if yiu have intentions of playing. It's best to look at the websites of the individual clubs. All clubs will give you a guided tour and it is best to arrive a littke earlier for this, you can always ring the club in advance to explain it's your first time too. In all clubs a polite no means no and for your first visit I would go with the expectation of not playing and just taking things in and if you do get to play it's a bonus.

Good luck OP.

I agree - this is good advice. Every club I have been to when I have explained that I am new have had a tour.

For me it's nice just to see the place. I have been to enough clubs before but it's good to get the owners to show you. Though it was funny that I got a proper newbie tour and I was like I have given the odd tour for other clubs

Not everyone is shagging in the social area (may have seen this a few times), normally play areas are upstairs or some are downstairs. There is normally a bar area to have a drink

I would also ask is it BYOB, or do they serve drinks. I would also take your own condoms if like me your particular. I tend to prefer a certain brand so it's easier to take my own
