For those of you that aren't aware, if you have a question you want to ask regarding a specific topic, like *married people, verifications, fake profiles* plus a whole host of others you can use the forum search option and type in a keyword (like the ones inside the *'s)

This will show you the zillion threads that have been done of those subjects, starting with the most recent. Which was probably earlier that day, or yesterday.

Personally I don't like seeing threads that have very few replies when it's a genuine question, and the more the same question is asked the fewer people respond.

Use the forum search option..... it's your Google equivalent. That's my tip of the day.

I have tried to stop posting on certain threads as there is only so many times I can answer the same question without being sarcastic,

Some threads should stay at the top of the forum for a couple of days/weeks to help answer peoples questions or when you start typing a question key words like cock boobs timewaster I drop box should appear with previously asked questions with that word in it

That's how I feel. We all know I'm a sarcastic moo cow but only to people I know will take it for what it is, me being cocky but not with malicious intent.

I'm really having to think hard of what to say (if anything) on those particularly done to death threads.

Playing devil's advocate here...

If forums were purely a reference tool for seeking information, then there'd be little point in starting new threads at all after a while, and we could all just use the search tool. In fact, you can probably just use Google and forget this site altogether.

But... Don't you think people often start a thread in order to engage in conversation and effectively "meet" people online? If that's your intent, there's not much enjoyment to be had in simply re-reading old threads.

Imagine if you went to the pub, started a conversation, and the chap/lady at the bar next to you said "Oh, I talked to someone about that last week, here's a recording of it - just go and sit on the corner on your own and listen to it". Not very sociable?

Just a thought.

Totally get ya, but that's why I only put about specific topics as it's the same ones that keep coming up daily and every time less people respond. It's those very specific questions I'm referring to.

Seeeeeeee, this is what I don't want. This is what makes me sad (apart from the message obviously - lucky swine) however I'm simply not sure if I can write the same answer for the 77 millionth time without vomming and questioning my existence!

Looking, I think it depends on how much (or little) effort someone has put into their post. If it's all of a dozen words, then maybe they don't deserve the time it would take you to reply. But if they've put some thought into it, and used good English, maybe it's a wee bit sad if they're ignored.
