Personally I'd be respectful at a funeral if I was attending whether I got on with them or not.

But it's up to you isn't it? I wouldn't take counsel from randomers off the internet on such a matter personally ..

Sick people are often nasty to people in their final days because of their illnesses. They don't mean it, it's because they are ill. I think your being nasty yourself posting this thread. The last funeral I attended was in 2015. My husbands. I don't recall anything light hearted or humorous about the day. Despite him being a controversial man, I really hope everyone that attended, did so for the right reasons and in the right manner.
