Its a long while since taken any notice of flattery in messages. Sometimes it makes me smile, sometimes it makes me grimace.

But after a shitty couple of days i log on and the first message i read started.

"There are profiles and then there are M & s profiles.

Now admittedly he probably sends that to everyone he messages but today it was just what i needed

At this point in my life I'm definitely a Waitrose. Mostimes i'm Sainsbury's but I love it when I stray into Aldi mode.....

Definitely Waitrose!

Most of the time is Morrisons, however, I do like to shop at Lidl's and Aldi's from time to time.

Real flattery is lovely to receive. I had a nice message from a lady today . ( oh I do hope she isnt a guy with a fem profile.) I think if ladies say nice things they mean it.. she seems genuine anyway. Its nice to find someone to chat with / gossip with sometimes.

I do love messages that make me smile, lots of them do and its not only the over flattering ones.

I really like guys who message with such sickly sweet messages, written like a proper gentleman, and the username will be I-want-to-fuck-you-like-an-animal, these things amuse me

He probley did, but after the shit the last couple of days i dont mind if he didnt mean it, it really brightened my day up and if some people think im thick because of it i really dont give a flying fuck

I think saying the nice things you see, not lying or being fake, is what makes for good flattery. For me, I have to believe it before I can say it.

As for cut & paste messages I guess the assumption is everyone is disconnected and isolated from each other and so won't find out the sender is actually lazy (;-)
