A sense of humour is not the same as finding a wasp nest in your loft. You shouldn’t really need to tell folk you have one for them to be aware of it…. and if it’s only your neighbours who suspect you might have had a small one last summer…. well you get the picture.

Yet it is really common to see quite bland and dry profiles…. after reading a message which includes “I have a great sense of humour”

Humour is far better when experienced rather than explained. Show people your humour. Give us a taster of it….. when we taste something we like, we’ll likely want more.

Go on… off you go… have a read of your profile. If you want people to know you have a sense of humour, check if you left any of it showing.

Mine is the profile of someone that has been here a long time; a list of doesn't wants, explained later on along with things I want, doesn't show a sense of humour at all but then you only have to chat to me and there she blows

When im shocked by mine. I didnt write our profile, but I didnt know he'd updated it to include my desire for sexy black guys.

As you can tell from the opening paragraph, Im not one to keep swapping and changing our profile every 2 seconds and I dont put any negativity in it. I want people to _iew me in a positive light and if you have a list of negative or dont wants, then it gives a negative _iew of that person and they dont shine through as being fun loving. You will get a 'im a fun loving person with a great sense of humour', now for my dont wants and then you get war and peace on what they are not looking for. Why not just keep it positive and deal with any messages from guys who are not what you are looking for when they message.

If someone said to me, think of something funny to say, I would be stuck, but I do see humour in general chat and from forum posts, so it tends to be instant humour rather than pre planned thought out.
