So my mum is unintentionally cock blocking me!

Whenever i have child free time to potentially have a meet or play, my mum wants to hang out with me or phones constantly, wanting to know where i am and what I'm up to.

Don't want to lie and make up fabricated stories, but can't exactly tell her the truth. It's stopping me from meeting up.

Any advice? Anyone else got this going on? X

Ignore your phone. I tell my girls I'm unavailable and don't ring, text or message me, unless it's an emergency.

Just be honest with her.

'Mum, I love you; but I have limited time and would prefer to spend it hopping in the bad foot and doing the good thing. So stop cockblocking and go to bingo.'

Alternatively invite he to join you at a club, two birds one stone.

Most people do not understand that modern mobiles have an OFF button.

Also they are not legally obliged to use twitter/kik/ face book etc or need to check these sites every 30 seconds.

Who do they think is going to ring them for advice..Henry Kissinger ...lol

Pretty sure everyone can relate to this someway or other, just tell her you need time to your self sometimes. Frustrating but must be funny at times.

Tell her you're spending time with friends. Don't answer her calls. Don't have meets back to your place if she's likely to turn up unannounced.
