"Great book, terrible film. Far better to watch 'the Omega man' with Charlton Heston, which sticks more closely to the themes of the book - and doesn't have the dreadful CGI 'monsters'.." Whats the title of the book? They are always better btw. Its why I would prefer to see film first but usually ends up the other way around. Mistress x

Wasn't the Omega Man a remake of the The Last Man On Earth?" I had to look it up, I didn't know about 'the last man..' apparently both were based on the book (which, re the earlier question, is called 'I am legend', by Richard Matheson). Omega Man is from 1971, Last Man.. from '64.. I shall look out for 'the last man on earth' because it too sounds good - Vincent Price in the lead role!!

"I cant believe that they are doing a remake of Conan the Barbarian." Yes, apparently the new version is totally non-violent, they've made the character into a very quietly spoken bloke with glasses who reads a lot. Oh, hang on, no, that's Conan the Librarian
