If there isn't an independent coffee shop available, I will usually go to Pret a Manger, failing that Nero. Costa and Starbucks are the totally last choice.

Based purely upon their menu (rather than their evasion of tax), I'd say Starbucks as I love their cheese and marmite paninis and they tend to have a wider choice of cold drinks, like iced hibiscus tea lemonade.

I can't afford Starbucks. Lol

Saying that they opened a new drive through at the local petrol station, and got free drinks through Facebook, and then extra free ones from the new Spar

8 family drinks saved us more than £26 that weekend

Costa coffee makes me feel sick. Starbucks used to be nice but they changed the blend and strength so it isn't great now. I can only drink decaffeinated now but there's an independent near us that does the best coffee in town bar none.

Nescafe at home in my favourite mug.

We'd sell a cappuccino at work £2.49 at a cost of about 20p to make. I dread to think how much profit costa & Starbucks are ripping people off by.

Don't like Starbucks coffee, Costa just about beats it.... I find tea in both is pretty rubbish. Hot chocolate is ok though.

Costa every time. Starbucks is awful and the syrups they use are even more artificial tasting unlike the sugar free ones at Costa. Nothing beats a Black Forest hot chocolate at Christmastime though

I find Cafe Nero really burnt tasting so avoid there at all costs.
