Favourite Disney films as a child vs as an adult...

I'm having a bit of a Disney day - Muppet Treasure Island and now The Lion King - and I've noticed my tastes have changed recently due to rewatching the ones that I didn't like or scared me when I was little. As a kid I preferred Aladdin and The Little Mermaid, whereas now I prefer Beauty & The Beast (always a firm favourite) The Lion King and The Hunchback Of Notre Dame.

The Herbie movies were a favourite of mine, and now my son loves the cars franchise, I guess they are quite similar movies all told

I don't know what it is but I've always had a real aversion to Disney. Most of the films really irritate me at best and repulse me at worst. And characters like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck et al make me cringe. Sorry

Though I do absolutely love the Pirates of the Caribbean series ...

Me too...I'm sure the whale is impressive but Dippy was part of my childhood.(yes I know he was a plastercast) Been so many times to the NHM but this year's trip is extra special...me & John are having a sleep over there!!! how exciting

But quite enjoyed moana too x"
