When browsing, profiles of people who haven’t been on site for a long time aren’t listed. How long is “a long time”? A year? Six months? Does anybody know?

I think they are, unless they've hidden their profile or blocked you.

just work it out.

like here it does up to 7 days, then it's a week, then a month, then all the months up to 12 months. then lastly it's over a year.

I wouldn't be looking at people who hadn't been on site for 6 months anyway.

"I wouldn't be looking at people who hadn't been on site for 6 months anyway. "

Right. So I block everyone who hasn't visited for 6 months (amongst other things). My "Search" lists just 17 profiles.

But my block list is over 300 long, possibly over 1,000. It takes ages to load, so I want to reduce it by unblocking people who's profile won't be listed because they are no longer active, e.g. not visited for 10 months.

What is the cut-off "not visited" period for listing on searches?

I've no idea, once people are blocked, I completely forget about them.

If it bothers you that much and 'need' an answer to a question that is fairly obscure. Message admin and ask them.
