I get at least 2 or 3 messages a day telling me I look 'too nice' to be on a site like this.Does anyone else get this?

This amuses me given that they are judging I'm 'too nice' just from pictures of my body alone! And what does 'too nice' mean anyway?!

I know some guys may think they are giving a compliment by saying this but it got me thinking that some guys must subconsciously have an idea about the 'type' of girl they think should be using Fab!

Have any of you guys been told you're 'too nice' to be here?

Hate the word NICE, and I don't agree with somebody bring too good in anyway for Fab, but tbh Miss Red you certainly do look the sort to be in the top 10 - 5% of the female bracket on fab

And again that's just a personal opinion

Well I for one can confirm that you are 'nice'

- although that's such a subjective and cover all word.

As for 'too nice' for a site like this - I'm not sure how anyone can be described as such purely based on pics alone, or even profile blurb and even exchanged messages. Surely the fact that someone has signed up to the site, created and written a profile, taking pics to enhance it along the way, is enough evidence to show that they have a healthy enough interest in sex and sexuality to be anything but here for the same reasons as anyone else?

So throw away compliment perhaps? After all what would actually constitute being 'too nice' to be here?

Yes I agree we're all here for similar reasons so no one is 'too nice' for this site, whatever that means!

I think it's probably more the former - it's an 'easy' compliment to give (without liking to sound insulting to the intended recipient).

Although there are sadly some men here that do have a pre-conceived idea of the type of woman that would sign up to the site - but generally they're also going to be the type that think a blank profile and a gallery of cock pics is a guarantee of sex - so perhaps a 'compliment' like that is a warning sign

People sometimes say we don't look "the type" to be swingers.

I think there's a belief, even among swingers, that "nice" people, women especially shouldn't actively enjoy sex other than in a long term committed relationship. Almost as if having a healthy sexual appetite and being honest about is a character flaw.

This amuses me given that they are judging I'm 'too nice' just from pictures of my body alone! And what does 'too nice' mean anyway?!

It's usually when I've met people. The comments usually being 'you look too nice to be doing all this' or 'you look really sweet and innocent'

I'm not sure what they expect me to look like but I'm sure as hell not turning up to a social with my boobs falling out of my top or a short skirt on.

I've been called too nice too, there's nothing wrong with being nice but by saying someone is too nice for this place says more about what the person saying it expects to find on here, it's like they only expect sex crazed lunatics or something. I am just myself and that just happens to be nice.

I got this a lot when I first set up a solo profile. One guy wrote reams about how he wanted to 'save' me. I actually find that kind of attitude quite disturbing - very much the Madonna/Whore thing ... and if it *is* supposed to be some sort of flattery to get you into their bed, as in, you're apparently 'better' than all the other women here, then how would they view you once you'd done the very thing - casual sex - they seem to despise so much in others? That there are still *some* men who see sexually open women as worthless sluts frightens me, it's very misogynistic and of course hypocritical too because what are *they* doing on a site like this eh?

A perception is that less attractive women who would struggle elsewhere come to Fab because it makes them more desired because of the ratio of men to women on here.

So a women who could obviously pull quality in the real world is deemed as 'too nice' for here by some.

Men get this too but probably to a lesser degree.

I have to agree. It means they have a negative perception of the women who should be on here, in my opinion. It makes me wonder if the assume all females on here are butt ugly and desperate for a fuck, then get surprised that they see someone they deem as half decent.
