Got one of these new smart meters fitted for my gas and electric and the thing decides to start singing between 4-5am since I had it installed THREE days ago !! What the absolute fuck ....

Mine are supplied by sse.

The little unit that's about the size of a mobile phone started beeping at about 0430 the morning after (I was already up for work).

I went into the settings on the unit & turned the loss of signal alarm off.

Yep it's the same one. I too turned off all alarms and still sang ...

Only for a while, the govt have mandated that all domestic properties have one by 2021 I think

crazy thing is they build them into new houses, when you change supplier they have to come and be reinstalled. crazy.

i keep getting emails from my supplier about getting one installed just delete. anyway would rather over pay like i did before nice big balance when i moved house.
