Mine's either getting my foot stuck between the spokes on one of my auntie's dining room table chairs and my mum and auntie having to use washing up liquid to make my foot slick enough to get out, or cutting my foot open on some glass, and my mum carrying me down the road to the doctors with my foot wrapped in kitchen roll as I screamed my head off.

I must have been around threeish on both occasions.

Psychologists reckon you can only recall events from about the age of 7. Memories before then tend to be due to events and things you did that someone told you about.

Don't shoot the messenger!!!!

My mom pushing me in the pushchair. I'd got a bag of chips stuck under the harness so I didn't drop them on the floor.

I can also remember them walking home with hands full of carrier bags and them giving me the loo roll to carry and me crying because they were too heavy.

I can also remember peeing the bed and my dad huffing and puffing down the road to give the sheets to my nan, as my mom was in hospital having my sister.

I was laying on the floor and a giant animal walked past me...it was a cat . I was probably about 18 months old. I also recall sitting at one end of the pram with my baby brother the other end and it tipped up in the kitchen .

I cut my pigtails off on Xmas day, wrapped them and gave them to my mummy, red ribbons too. She cried

I also remember walking down my street late one summers night in my pyjamas blowing my Dad's Whistle.

I've got a few early memories, all from when I was about 3 or 4.

Sitting on my dad's knee in the car and holding the steering wheel, I thought I was driving it.

Falling into a swimming pool and going under the water, someone saw and pulled me out quickly. My parents started taking me and my twin sister to swimming lessons soon after.

First day at nursery we were all given a coat peg and they didn't have names on they had pictures, mine was a butterfly.

We lived in a small village and even as very young children we were allowed to play outside on the small green a few houses away. I remember playing with the grass clippings and trying to make "sandcastles" out of them.

Aw, these are so cute

Another memory of mine was, at the time, a very steep and high step that led down to my grandpa's greenhouses in my grandparents' back garden. I must have been really young at the time as I had to bodily climb up onto the step as my legs were too small to reach

My dad used to be a coal miner and found a very young kitten abandoned at the pit. He brought it home and mum and dad tried to save it and they were bottle feeding it. We named him tiny.

He did ok for a few weeks and then he died of cat flu on my 5th birthday
