Kim Jong kills even more fish

On Friday North Korea fired another missile into the sea just off Japan for the umpteenth time.

America today fired it's own rocket and then shot it down and then flew some big ass planes over the Korean peninsula.

Where is this going to end?

Is there really going to be a war?

or will Lil Kim keep killing Japanese fish and thats about it (this is where I think it will end)

I dunno. When you you have two egotistical bellends in charge of a Country, anything can happen.

Can't think of a country which hasn't got one as it's political leader.

Every 20 to 30 years the pig fuckers that run countries tell us we're all about to die. It's just their way of keeping everyone shit scared. Either ignore them or rise up and execute them. I ignore them. Lots of billionaires are building bunkers as we speak.

It's bullshit. All of it.

After all the wars the human race has had, we should know better. The millions of Russians, Americans, Britons, French, German, Canadian, Japanese, Italian, Chinese and the rest of participating countries not to mention the millions of Jews, homosexuals and other none WASP people slaughtered in world war 2 alone, you'd think as a race we would know better.

It just shows how expendable the public is in the eyes of our leaders

Send someone over to "take out" Kim-Jong-un.

And I don't mean take him out for a meal.

Give the North Koreans a bit of freedom from this nuisance.

Less than 1% probability in my opinion. Various reasons:

- i doubt more than 20% of the north korean military would fight for kim jong un, most would mutiny at the first opportunity (see Iraq '03)

- north korea isn't an autonomous country, it is a puppet state of china

- China do not want war with america and will do almost anything to avoid it

- the american public wouldn't support another war in south east Asia for a fairly obscure cause

As much as people think trump is an idiot, he's the first president that really articulates that China is the key to solving the north korean issue. If you look at 1953, China is the only reason the country even exists in the first place. Xi Jingpin switched off North Korea's internet (yes it has it) for 2 days as a slap on the wrist for the sony hacking and Chinese food supplies are the only thing that keep that country from rioting.

The brinksmanship continues because there's no better solution. China could oust Kim in less than a year, but replace him with what? They'd rather have a puppet on their border than americas and so would you if you were chinese. Kim Jong Un is also anything but stupid or crazy, on the contary he is possibly the most rational world leader there is.

Kim Jong Un has no real options as such. He's past the point where he can do a south korean transition from military dictatorship to democracy, fade away and classify himself as obsolete. He's got a one way ticket to the same place as Saddam Hussein or Gaddafi because his crimes will never been pardoned. His conventional forces are shit because he can't afford them so nuclear makes the most sense. Fun fact: he hates china a lot more than he hates america.

A lot actually. All china has to do is stop sending food and it will happen within a year. That's why he routinely purges people from the military that threaten him (e.g. his uncle) and even his own brother. Interestingly if you look at the air defences over Pyongyang, the only places they don't cover are the places Kim resides - because he's more worried about his own missiles being turned on his than he is an american plane bombing him in his sleep.

In 2003 i would have said "what could be worse than Saddam Hussien ?" but clearly i was wrong about that. I do think someone with the baggage of his families legacy could do better and north korea doesn't have the tribal issues iraq does. But it does have the songbun legacy which could be just as bad.

"I thought that with Saddam and Gaddafi aswell.

All we can do is hope the next leader is the complete opposite and starts making some friends"

He's the youngest world leader there is so that won't be soon by natural causes. In any event, i think the surname will tell you all you need to know. I actually think trump is spot on in his approach here - pressure china is the way forward.

It's starting to get a bit serious.

He hasn't killed any marine life for a few weeks but is threatening the island of GUAM where The USA has its bombers parked up.

It could just be more chat but I think things have gone up a notch this week and this pressure is building.

It feels like something ' s going to give.

Brighton - even Hove!

I don't think anything will happen. It's just loud posturing from two mentally unstable male leaders who dare not back down because they fear what they think people will think of them.

NK can say what they like to their own people because they have state media.

pretty much sums it up....story is fed by sensationalist nothing to report press too!

Meanwhile in the press...residents in uproar in Luton as their estates are inundated with holiday makers parking their cars outside their property. Apparently they've taken matters into their hands.

There were actually 2 cars vandalised. Yes 2. Don't believe everything you read....not even on FAB

The news has just shown one of those clips where all those solders are bouncing down the road but looking to the left at the platform where Kim is stood.

The march is called 'The Goose Step' from what I gather. It looks like they spend years perfecting it and yes they look like impressive with their timing and coordination.

However, surely that shit only works on flat ground? No way could they do that trying to get up stairs or possibly even a hill.

They clearly didn't think that one through very well.

There's been an incident in Paris. A car driven into soldiers and at least two are seriously injured.

You'd expect this to be the top story on the bbc news app but it's still Kim v Trump. Maybe they think it's different this time.

Knowing how Koreans think, I feel very worried about the direction it's going in.

Trump is, at heart, a blustary coward who just likes to shout a lot and think that things will "move on" somehow...

But the Korean mind is very different, and power and posture are very, very important for them - Kim Jong will have no choice but to carry though any threat that he makes.... He doesn't have the choice of backing down or avoiding conflict, or of even thinking about it...

It's a very scary mess....

In the blue corner, weighing in with trump towers we have donald trump..a man who spends more time on twitter than running a country!...even the secret service have admitted to swapping out the nuclear football for a fisher price replica that even makes a kaboom sound when he presses the red button

In the red corner, kim yung....a small man with little person complex....think Chihuahua puppy....lots of noise and bark, even brave enough to puff his chest out a little against a big dog, however when big dog bears his teeth he runs out and hides under the sofa.

Will it equate to anything? Nope because the administration of the largest nuclear power already has their response "we are sorry about Donald trump, his mum didnt say he could come out to play and now he is grounded"

In short both are idiots who think flexing a bicep makes them look hard as fook when in short it makes both look like bell ends with the world laughing at both

I think Trump is in a similar position. He moaned how Obama was all mouth and how he was different and was a man of action.

It's not that easy now is it Don?

Stoke-on-Trent

Both of them are just Bellends. If Trump wanted to he could shoot down one of the Korean missiles to prove America can do it. Then the Koreans would know firing more would be pointless.

If you kill Kim the man who replaced him could be even worse!

Fortunately there are too many external forces on them both, China on NK and the senate / government agencies on DT to let it go to the extreme. Just two kids fighting over the sandpit!
