Facebook finding fab friends

Hi, general word of warning to anyone using facebook on smart phones. I went on the app today and tried to search for someone we met last night in the pub, hit search for new friends and it pulled up all the facebook pages of people i've emailed or got the phone number of... Including all of the contacts I have met swinging.

Now, i'm not shy but some people might not like too many details shared... Best check your settings if you have this app

It happened to me too. When I joined FB on my 'real' email address it pulled up all the contacts from my 'perving' email address at the same time, even though I hadnt given them that address to FB.

A couple of guys had sent me things on my perving address obviously using their real email and next thing I had all their personal details on FB including pics of their wives and kids ...

I dont know but it was on my laptop, not an app. I only put my real address into FB but dont know if there is a way that all contacts on the PC are searched??

The guys had email addresses like 'hotcock' (!) so I was surprised that FB found them

I nearly shut mine down a year ago when i got stalked and pestered by a guy in my town, who could see where i worked, and where abouts i lives,

When i reported and blocked him, he managed to get to me thru an app that i was using to game, and was asking me why i had blocked him, what he wanted to do to me etc.

FB is one of the worse apps for sharing ever - they keep changing their page - and i can bet if 75% of you go on there your URL wont read UTTPS - cos its a secure unit =- but you can change that on your settings.

I have done this several times, and each time FB does an update, i have to change it back -= so have alook please peeps and keep your privacy YOURS xxx

If you share your email that is linked to your facebook to share pics to fab users or msn chat it automatically links them to your facebook.best thing to do is set up a seperate email addy to use for fab friends x

I do have a seperate Fab address and like I said I only put in my real address into FB and not my Fab one, so thats why I was so surprised it happened...anyway I now know where one of my friends lives, works, who is mates are, and can confirm that his wife and kids are very attractive lol

Last night someone posted a warning about smart phones, Facebook and numbers. If you go to account, edit friends and then contacts it brings up everyone you have in your phone plus everyone you've ever called/texted!

I have found 3 people from here on Facebook just because I have/had their mobile and one has their wall wide open, which is shocking anyway because he's a marine. I never met that guy but did meet his friend and could see his guy's last name, which he obviously hadn't wanted me to have!
