Today marks 3 weeks of me giving up smoking and to be honest if I'd known it was this easy is have done it years ago.

The point is, if you want to give up you will....problems seem to occur when someone thinks they should give up don't really want to. Good luck op...you can do it

Well done. There'll still be cravings at times and i thought giving up was easy as well. Gutted i didn't do it sooner. Nearly 5 years smoke free now

Stopped overnight myself 18 years ago and now the smell males me retch, keep going it's a filth habit.

I cut out the habitual ones first over a few days then just said fuck it. Had one before bed the Saturday night and then binned all my rizzla etc. As above hit says the smell makes me heave now

It really is a disgusting habit.

Nearly 18 months for me now and like everyone I so wish I had done it sooner!

Good for you OP, stick with it.

I've never smoked, but know that some find it much harder than others.

My mum finally gave up with the help of ecigs, after several attempts to stop over the last 30 years...

The key is to change your thinking and think of yourself as a non smoker.

I'm a non smoker but will occasionally have a cigarette or smoke some .

That way if you do relapse with one cig you don't immediately go back to 20 a day.

Think of yourself as a non smoker from now on. Cigs are poison and you'll feel so much better for quitting. Good luck!
