yes i was in 11 year and its been 18 months and its been one hell of a rolcoaster ride ups and downs swinging can be good but it can be very bad same as life

Thing is about being single ozzy is all those things you CAN now do without any hassle off anyone.

YUP there will be lows but you have to enjoy the little things as you go along and i should know as ive always been single .

Fart when you want, where you want, leave the towel on the bathroom floor, leave the loo seat up , the remotes yours and no one elses , eat what ever combination of foods ya want and not wash up till you want...turn ya pants inside out and use them another day,..Ohhh loads of good stuff

It takes time to ajust I know I've been separated now for nearly 2 years and you may have your independance. Yes I've had fun and a few good laughs but at the end of the day when you close that door on an evening when you get it, thats it you're all alone and thats the hardest part missing the chaos and laughter of a full house.

I would give you advice on being single ie shopping but we had 2 children so I wasn't quite alone, had to learn to cook though as he did most of it

words of wisdom from peaches as always ... And very true! A loss of a twosomeship also means the gain of independence. Naturally change can feel a bit odd and even scary.. Being on here is a good step in the right direction xx

Not a problem pearl, was taught as a kid, no point in having another useless male around the house san can turn my hand to most things.

Cant bring my dog here so will have to stay with ex till I get sorted with a place of my own

I have been single for 5 years and my advice is: ENJOY EVERY MINUTE!!!

I can eat what I want, when I want, watch what I want, when I want, meet who I want, when I want.

Sure, it gets lonely sometimes, but I just remind myself of the fact he sat around the house scratching his bollocks and being unfaihful while I was at work. The relief when he left was enormous. Good luck.
