It's that time of the year - I leave the UK tomorrow. What flight attire do you wear?

The whole wardrobe for the holidays, to save on checked bag fees. Dress like a million dollars - you always must look your best Loose, comfortable and with an eye on the weather conditions at the other end?

I know some people go on school runs or the shops in nightwear but maybe this?

Cardiff

Trainers, socks, pants, shorts with pockets, T shirt, hoody with pockets.

I only fly to Malaga and when you step out its boiling and the pockets are essential as I don't carry a man bag or a bum bag.

Depends on where I'm flying to, generally for summer holidays I pay to make sure I get 20kg baggage allowance. Then I tend to wear either jeans or loose fitting harem style trousers and a top.

I usually wear a dress and either fitflops or shoes depending on the time of year. If its cold in the uk I wear a leather jacket too.

Lots of people wear track suit type things which look ideal for travelling in.

Loose and comfortable, especially important on a long flight where several wee's will be needed, plane loos are not a good place to be faffing about with complicated clothing.Shoes that are easy to slip off are an absolute must.

I never go anywhere without my travelling hat, however I don't recommend wearing a hat.For a start, you really don't want to sit for hours with it on and if you put it in the overhead locker it will get crushed.

On my last trip abroad, when I left the house,it was P'ing hard and freezing.I didn't want to take a coat (what would I do with it in Thailand?) so, a wool shawl is a good alternative.Reasonably stylish for a train ride to Manchester airport, covered my shoulders in Abu Dhabi and a nice blanket for on the plane.
