Recently I told everyone I bake bread by hand.

Every now and then I also fit doors with hand tools. Yes, the hand brace drill and hand planes come out. It adds no time to the job, but it's hard work. You wonder why in the 60s 70s and 80s workman looked fitter than the builders of today.

I wrote a charity a hand written letter and they were extremely grateful and surprised to receive it. I don't think they get many these days.
